The environmental and social data in Novo Nordisk's Annual Report build on information from Novo Nordisk's 13 production sites and - for the social data - all Novo Nordisk affiliates around the world. In the interactive charts, all data can be extracted for comparison or further analysis from each of the production sites or at corporate level.
Access to a wealth of data
The environmental data comprise inputs and outputs such as consumption of water, energy and raw materials, spent biomass, emissions and waste. Further, more sophisticated information is provided on environmental impact potentials.
The social data include basic employee statistics and health and safety data. There is also data for assessing the wider responsibility on the social and economic bottom lines such as training costs and cash donations to local communities.
You can select environmental or social data by year or by site, select data group, data type, site and year or view data in a full summary.
Since 1994 the validity of these data has been assured externally by independent assurance providers in accordance with the Novo Nordisk Way of Management.
